To All Smalltalk/V Windows Users: We are approaching the beta test for InterfaceBuilder/V, and our beta tester list still has room for a few more extremely motivated testers. InterfaceBuilder/V is a Windows version of the interface builder made popular by Widgets/V 286 and Widgets/V Mac. It provides a point and click user interface designer, which allows the user to place and edit subpanes in dialogs and windows. Smalltalk code is then automatically generated which will reproduce the window. With InterfaceBuilder, the pain of user interface development is vastly reduced. In addition to the interface builder itself, InterfaceBuilder/V includes a subpane attribute editor, a full featured menu editor, and tools for easily aligning and automatically framing panes.
