From: topaz!harvard!gau@hplabs.UUCP (Jyh-Lin Gau (Jack)) In old Chinese folktales, foxes usually disguise themselves as beautiful women and try to make the kings who love them too much to do something harmful to the country. So the good officials of old China used to persuade their kings to do some constructive things (instead of destructive ones) by hinting that their beloved women may be disguised foxes; the kings should care more for their national affairs rather than just fooling around or being fooled by beautiful but harmful women. Speaking of which, if you feel the movie is being unfairly panned, an articulate exposition of how the movie spoke to you is in order, NOT personal invective!
