In the latest isuue of "Smalltalk/V Scoop", vol. MSRP is $149.00, but can be had for $99.oo through May 31, 1991. Is it actually shipping, yet? Has anybody seen it? Used it? Any other pertinent info? Opinions about it? Actually, that was a mistake. We're offering it for the intro price until the end of June. >> Is it actually shipping, yet? Not yet. It will be available next Wednesday, May 8. >> Has anybody seen it? Used it? Yep. What a great product! :-) Ken Cooper Acumen Software cooper@netcom.com

There is no question that it will help you to build a user interface much faster than you could without it. For the price, it's a good deal. Please note that I'm not affiliated with Acumen in any way (I've never met or even talked on the phone with anyone from Acumen.) The fellow from Acumen who hangs out in the Digitalk forum on Compuserve said a couple of days ago that it should ship on May 8th. FWIW, it is NOT a port of their Widgets product to the ST/V Windows environment. Also, Digitalk will be coming out with a similar but more powerful package called the "Look-and-Feel Kit" will ship in "early fall", according to their newsletter.

Yes. Expect a release this summer, with identical capabilities.
