I saw Hanna and her sisters. I liked it a lot. I have a few comments for anyone planning to see it. This is not a comedy. There are several very funny *moments*, but in general it is not a comedy. Woody Allen really admires Bergman, and his films are becoming more and more sensative. If you are looking for something like Play it Again Sam, or Annie Hall, forget it. This is more like a cheerful version of Interiors.

It is not a farce, like "Bananas," but it is a comedy. The classical definition of comedy is that an important subject is treated in a non-tragic way. This means that a comedy does not have to provoke belly laughs. I found myself smiling throughout the movie, although I rarely laughed. -- Marcel-Franck Simon ihnp4!{mhuxr, hl3b5b}!mfs " Viv Ayiti libe're' "
