Re: "Dark Shadows" as the world's longest running S-F show
I thought that "Dr. Who" (in production for most of the past
twenty years) was the world's longest running S-F show. Further-
more I thought that "Dark Shadows" was a gothic soap opera with a
vampire as the main character that ran for only a year or two on
network TV (ABC, I think) in the United States. (I did find it
more entertaining than the "typical" soap.) Could someone either
confirm this or correct me?

"Dark Shadows" dealt with the occult, folklore and horror. It did not, to the best of my recolection, deal with Science Fiction. But it was very enjoyable to watch!
