Of course, I'm still waiting for the message that reads "Compiling PCL under AKCL/KCL with no problems whatsoever.." Anyway.. I'm using Victoria PCL 5/22/89 with AKCL 1.179 and am having the following problems: 1. (not so serious) kcl expects that anything called init.lsp should be read in as a startup file. There's one in the PCL directory: ----------------------------------------------------- AKCL (Austin Kyoto Common Lisp) Version(1.179) Thursday August, 10. 1989, 18:1- :12 MSZ Contains Enhancements by W. Schelter Loading init.lsp Error: The function DEFMETHOD is undefined. Error signalled by SYSTEM:TOP-LEVEL. Broken at SYSTEM:TOP-LEVEL. Type :H for Help. ----------------------------------------------------- That is easily remedied.
