I need some help getting CLX running on MicroExplorer. I have a stand-alone machine (no ethernet controller card) and am running software release 6 (on both the Mac and the MicroExplorer). I have no trouble creating both the CLX and the CLUE systems, nor is there any problem creating a local host with the parameters recommended with the release 6 documentation. When the machine is booted, it creates the local server and displays a menu indicating the absence of an ethernet controller card and asking what to do. When I choose the option to load a local namespace file to create a server, it complies and indicates that it has successfully initialized the network. The problem occurs when I try and open a contact or a display. I get thrown into the debugger with the message that TCP is not enabled. Can anyone tell me how to convince my machine that it really is a network? Thanks for any help. Jon Behrens behrens%wasser@boulder.colorado.edu
