[comp.lang.lisp] looking for graphics objects

brand@ils.nwu.edu (Matthew Brand) (10/09/90)

	I'd like to throw some graphics up on the screen from my
	lisp application:

		* a node/arc diagram with text & color
		* stripcharts (such as in xload or xmeter)
		* some buttons

	I'm sure somebody's had to do these things before; I'd
	like to recycle as much code as possible. I have both
	CLX and SOLO (the Xview heir apparent, I believe) here.
	Any comments on the wisdom of committing to either
	for a few years would be welcome as well, although code
	samples are what will really make my heart swell.

	thanks much,
	matt brand

It may be more than you need, but I've been pleased with Garnet, a
user-interface/knowledge representation system. It's available for free ftp
from Carnegie-Mellon University.
