LAST CALL !!!! FOR PAPERS EUROPAL '91 *************************************************************** Submission Deadline Extension New deadline for submission of papers: 31st of October, 1990 *************************************************************** Conference Chair: Jerome Chailloux, ILOG, 2 Avenue Gallieni, BP 85, F-94253 Gentilly Cedex, France. chailloux@ilog.fr The second European Conference on the Practical Application of Lisp will be held between the 24th and 27th of March 1991 in Cambridge, UK. The aim of the conference is to provide a forum for technical exchange between all the members of the world-wide Lisp community: academics; industrialists; and Lisp system vendors. It is expected that the Conference will follow a similar format to Europal'90 with plenary and panel sessions, tutorials and workshops ...and focusing on applications developed in Lisp that are destined for everyday use. The conference will have two main tracks. The first will contain practical, preferably commercial/industrial, applications written in Lisp and the second will include tools and techniques which aid Lisp program construction. Topics will include: * CAD & Manufacturing * Computer-Based Training * Parallel Systems * Data Processing * Graphics & Animation * Portability * Financial Analysis * Automated Documentation * Environments & Toolkits * Knowledge-Based Systems * Computer-Aided Software * User Interface Design Tools Engineering * Planning & Scheduling * Object-Oriented Systems * Applications Delivery * Simulation * Embedded Lisps Systems * Software Engineering (and use of) Methodologies both for/in Lisp ...and especially the new, unusual and innovative. We invite submissions in all these areas concerned with the use of Lisp, but the emphasis must reflect the "practical" theme of the Conference. For your initial submission, which will be refereed, papers should not exceed 6000 words in length and should include a cover page with the title of the paper, a brief abstract, keywords and the name, affiliation and address of the author(s).
