I have just read GED. I was not impressed. I think this to be definitely
the worst of the four. I will now disclose the entire plot:
Leto is such a pain that Duncan Idaho finally offs him. That's about the only
action in the entire book. The rest is portrait of a society with all
the inherent interest of an anthill.
The reason this was the only one of the series not serialized in ANALOG was
because they bounced it. (personal
opinion, not backed up with fact).
Worth it as part of a 4 for $1 book club offer.
