[comp.lang.lisp] Setting up a Defsystem

We are going to develop an expert system using Knowledge Craft and Sun 
Common LISP.  Our hardware platform will be Sun IPC's and one Sparc 2.
As system administrator, I need to set up a "make system" type facility.
I'd appreciate any information on commercially available software packages
 that provide such functionality or hints on how to set one up myself.
