In watching the movie, I have found 3 continuity errors, and 3 sections of direct forshadowing. Continuity : Kirks' Glasses, Spocks Coffin/Photon Torpedo Blood on Kirks' Uniform. Forshadowing : Kirk waiting, and looking at the time, Hours like days, By the book. Also note that the background has ships bells going off each 1/2 hour and that 4 bells sounds just before kirk takes command, and announces 'effective 18:00 hours' (or 6:00 pm, or 4 bells) david barto (sdcsvax!barto)

Please continue to report on SF movies over net.sf-lovers; it is entirely appropriate. If you read the arpanet newsgroup sf-lovers, you will notice that a good deal of the material there is about SF movies. I think that sf-lovers (the people) have a quite different perspective on SF movies than non-SF-lovers, and that only the latter group of people should submit articles on SF movies to net.movies. Greg Davidson
