Is anybody aware of database systems available in Lucid (Sun) Common Lisp. I am interested in both free and commercial software but, since reliability is a *big* issue, lean towards commercial. The SUN Catalyst catalogue was of minimal use, so any suggestions would be appreciated! -- Mark Brinsmead Alberta Research Council

There were rumors last year that a group at BBN was porting Symbolics's Statice to Sun CL. I haven't heard anything more about it. -- Barry Margolin, Thinking Machines Corp. barmar@think.com {uunet, harvard}!think!barmar

I am interested in both free and commercial software Itasca markets a CL OODB for the Sun called ORION. ORION was originally a research project at MCC. The article "Architecture of the ORION Next-Generation Database System", IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, Vol. 2, No. 1, March 1990. describes a few versions of ORION. You can contact Itasca at (612) 851-3153. We are currently waiting for information from these people. -- Scott Simpson TRW scott@coyote.trw.com
