[comp.lang.c++] GNU Emacs C++-mode wanted

C-mode in GNU Emacs does not deal at all well with C++.  Things like the //
comments and public: statements are handled very badly.  Does anyone have a
C++-mode or some way to customize C-mode to deal with this stuff?
