[comp.lang.c++] Good C++ gurus, objectively speaking

farrell@regent.dec.com (10/20/87)

To those who are interested in C++ expertise, training and
consultancy, I would refer you to the US branch office of
Glockenspiel - the company that brought you Advantage C++
for MS-DOS and Designer C++ for other environments.

The 'local' office (it depends on your point of view) is:

    Semaphore Inc.
    16 Haverhill Street
    Andover
    MA 01810.

    (617)-474-0040

Main contact there is Clive Lee.

They will be giving a number of open courses on C++ in
November and December. These are both one-day overviews
and five-day workshops.

They have also a lot of expertise in C++ tools and s/ware
development as they have been among the first source
licensees of cfront. They also welcome feedback on their
products and try to remedy problems promptly.

Regarding my previous posting on C++ expertise, supplier, etc.

All opinions expressed are personal, and not to be
regarded as those of DEC, or official DEC policy or
recommendations.

My suggestions are based on work I have done with Glockenspiel
in the past. I have not worked with any other C++ suppliers
or experts, so the opinions are to be taken as slightly
(read _VERY_) biased.

Apologies to anyone who took my opinion as a DEC policy. Once
again, it is NOT.
