[comp.lang.c++] C++ on an Ohio Scientific/DIAB/... machine

robert@pvab.UUCP (Robert Claeson) (10/28/87)

I have ported C++ 1.1 to an Ohio Scientific machine running that 'D-NIX'
real-time UNIX look-alike. It works like a dream. The computer is sold
by many different vendors as 'their' machine. I've seen it labeled with
'Ohio Scientific', 'DIAB DS90', 'Norsk Data' among other.

I have had trouble porting other software to this machine, so i jumped high
when the C++ translator went thru the bootstrapping and compilation
process with almost no errors (I had to add an entry for mc68k in math.h,
that was all). BS has done a good job with this piece of software.
