[net.sf-lovers] 111

aka779 (09/08/82)

This is Arlan Andrews, Bell Labs, Indy, again. Referring to my entry No. 111,
I dropped a line somewhere. Should have begun second paragraph with "Isaac
Asimov's SF Magazine"; prints "cutsie" stories, articles, limericks, and..."

Also, note that most of the SF magazines are monthlies, except the semi-pro
such as RIGEL and INFINITY. According to George Scithers at Chicon IV, he's
got enough material and backing now to start up the old FANTASTIC again, but
no definite plans yet... For any elfin freaks out there in net.land, WARP
Graphics, Poughkeepsie, NY, has come out with YEARNINGS, an ELFQUEST fan
volume, featuring fan stories and art. (Look out for the last page, in which
is reprinted my "Wolf Song" from the Inconjunction play, "Elf Trek: A
Two-Pini Opera".)

Are there other published SF/fantasy authors out there? If so, drop some
mail and I'll tell you about SFWA, the only organization that looks out for
us struggling types...

'Bye.
