[comp.lang.c++] Oh, my goodness

Without attribution. But maybe it makes a point.

This newsgroup has been remarkably useful, full of concrete problem
statements, suggestions, case history accounts, and information from providers.

Recently, it seems to be collecting opinionation and extended ramblings.

I like a good story as well as the next guy (probably better). But
these aren't fun. At all. The difference is between opening one's
mind and closing it.

Maybe it's just my own fault; having grown used to each article having
a real point, I've been reading these, and getting disappointed.

Is it the wrong thing to hope for, that we can stick to what interests
everyone -- new thoughts?

Thanks,

Clive Steward
