A person whose name I forgot to make note of (and am too lazy to retrieve)
made the comment in one article on this net that:
"Christ told stories to illustrate his radical new beliefs,
He also rejected the religions of his day and preached a
	 new way of life."
Hate to disillusion you (no I don't come to think of it), but Christ hard-
ly rejected the religion He was born into. Rather, He taught people to
practice the way it was truly intended, not the way the people thought it
should be. There are numerous references to Christ adhering to Jewish law,
as well as reintructing people in the finer points. In the story of stoning
the aldulterous woman, He did not say to throw out the law, but made a
point to all people, namely that this woman could be any one of them. Yes,
he preached what seemed like radical ideas, but He was trying to reteach
a people gone astray, not to trash an established religion.
