[comp.lang.c++] c++ use in UNIX V.4

brinkema@fjcp60.UUCP (brinkema) (08/04/88)

Could someone knowledgeable about *how* AT&T and Sun are planning to
use c++ in the writing of UNIX V.4 please outline the plans to the
net (and me). In particular: are they planning to use c++ as 'a
better C`, as an OOPL, or something between.
                                               jb.

I, of course, meant to say UNIX V.5.
