[comp.lang.c++] Public Domain C++ for MS-DOS

Does anybody know of either:
   (a) A public-domain/shareware C++ for MS-DOS machines, preferably
       with Microsoft C as its target C compiler (I have version 5.1).
or (b) A public-domain/shareware C++ for another machine where source
       is available, and porting to MS-DOS would be feasible.

Any pointers, comments would be appreciated.

p/s For everybody who has a favourite COMMERCIAL C++, I am NOT looking for
    pointers to those packages.
