What we really need is an integrated development environment ala Symbolics Genera/Zetalisp. The problems people keep fighting with include files & libraries & so on are largely due to C++ being forced to fit in the Unix development 'environment'. It sounds like the Saber-C++ product might begin to meet this goal, based on the posting describing it a few weeks back. I suspect such environments will show up in the PC world soon, if the Microsoft/Borland compiler wars slop over into C++ (we can hope). -- Jon Leech (leech@cs.unc.edu) __@/ ``Needless to say, both in the United States and in the eucaryotic cell, once the old immigrants are comfortably settled and their place in society is established, they do their best to shut the door to any prospective new immigrants'' - Freeman Dyson, _Origins of Life_

I missed that posting. I would appreciate someone mailing me a copy, plus any further information on the product and where/when/for how much it may be obtained. -- <<< standard disclaimers >>> Nick Crossley, CCI, 9801 Muirlands, Irvine, CA 92718-2521, USA Tel.
