Are there any other Piers Anthony fans out there? Come on, out of the woodwork! There's been far too much discussion here lately of those has-beens, I. Asimov and A. C. Clarke. I happened to be near a bookstore last night, stopped in, and found yet another Xanth novel by Piers Anthony. Now there are five: A Spell For Chameleon Castle Roogna The Source of Magic Centaur Aisle Ogre, Ogre (the latest!) So far, "Ogre, Ogre" is as good and punny as the others. I also inquired as to when the third novel in the Proton/Phaze series will be out in paperback, and they said not until spring. I know it's been published, since the Science Fiction Book Club has offered it. The books in this series are: Split Infinity Blue Adept Juxtaposition Stop by and buy "Ogre, Ogre," so Piers will get lots of royalties, so he'll keep on writing Xanth books! Alan R. While I am not a real fan of the Xanth books (I find that they read like a first draft), I do have some info on them fans might want to know. There are two more Xanth books due out Night Mare and one he won't release the title of, because he claims it is too bad a pun. Joe
