Rich (whoever he is) says: "Xanth reaks. too juvenile." Come, now. It seems to me you have "juvenile" confused with "humorous and containing a lot of puns." The Xanth novels are delightful for this very reason. I doubt that a "juvenile" person would "get" much of the humor; although some of the puns are obvious, a lot of them are quite subtle. I like this brand of humor because to get the most enjoyment from it, I have to use my brain. If any of you out there enjoy humor or puns, I strongly recommend Piers Anthony's Xanth books. (By the way, I assume you meant "reeks," not "reaks." Either way I still disagree.) I'm gratified, at least, to see some more Piers Anthony fans coming out of the woodwork. Alan R. In the first (two?) Xanth book(s), the puns aided and were integral to the plot. Now the books are just silly stories assembled to support a string of fairly weak puns.
