Ok, a few weeks after there as been a discussion of Interviews, I find I have a sudden craving for it. Could someone tell me where to ftp from or electronically contact the people at Stanford ( Linton, et al) or otherwise get Interviews, the C++ based toolkit for a graphical user interfaces which runs on top of the Xwindow system? You can obtain InterViews 2.4 from MIT in its X11R3 distribution or you can obtain it directly by one of the following methods: (1) Use anonymous ftp to "lurch.stanford.edu" (36.22.0.14). The distribution is in a compressed tar file named "InterViews/2.4.tar.Z", which is roughly 1Mb. Remember to say "type binary" in ftp before copying (I usually forget). (2) Send a "stamped, self-addressed" tape (Sun, TK50, or 1/2-inch) to Mark Linton Center for Integrated Systems, Room 213 Stanford University Stanford, CA 94305 There is a mailing list to discuss InterViews issues (current volume about 15 - 20 messages per week). interviews@lurch.stanford.edu General mailing list for questions, comments, and discussion about InterViews and related matters. interviews-requests@lurch.stanford.edu Send requests to be added or removed from the mailing list to this alias.
