Recently I have seen a lot of comments about P. A.'s sexism. I think he explains it all in his latest Xanth book, Ogre, Ogre. If you notice at the beginning of the book, he dedicates it to his daughter, whose tantrums aren't all that bad, he says. Thus, Tandy in the book must be a representation of his daughter (her magic is throwing tantrums). Thus, Tandy's father must be a representation of P. A. And who is Tandy's father??? Crombie the woman-hater!! Thus, P. A. must also be a woman hater, and this explains his sexism. Not afraid to make something out of nothing, Jim Grosch harpo!jtg
