[comp.lang.c++] Classes For Xwindows

dmg@ssc-vax.UUCP (David Geary) (06/16/89)

  Does anyone know if anybody has developed some base classes for Xwindows?
I'm about to embark on a project involving X, and would like to use C++ in
favor of C, but I'm having trouble getting the C++ compiler to accept
X include files.
  If someone has already developed some base classes in C++ for X, it'd
sure be a great help. Thanx.

If you are going to do X work using C++, I would suggest getting the
InterViews package from stanford. This has a set of classes and a lot
of what you will need to get started. It is available through
anonymous ftp from interviews.stanford.edu and is also in the contrib
toolkits on the MIT X release.
