[comp.lang.c++] vms c++

bergman@proline.cs.unc.edu (Larry Bergman) (07/05/89)

I'm interested in acquiring a VMS version of C++.
Does such a beast exist? If so, any information
you can supply on source, price (public domain would
be nice), performance, etc. would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,  Larry Bergman

We will be releasing a C++ compiler and debugger for VAX/VMS in the fall.

OASYS markets Glockenspiels C++ port of cfront for VMS.

Currently it is Cfront 1.2 and runs on VMS 4.x and 5.x.
It is not well integrated into the VMS way of doing
work, but is working in this group.

I don't have pricing info, but OASYS is at the following
address:

OASYS
230 Second Ave.
Waltham, MA  02154
