... We DO have a 24-hour jazz FM station in Denver. Jazz impressario Dick Gibson bought KRKY in Castle Rock and turned it to 24-hr jazz. He also brought back the KADX call sign, and most of the KADX people, with the exception of Steve Burke. Don't know where he went. It's 92.1 FM, although in some outlying areas reception is bad (specifically Boulder, where KPKE has a translator on the same frequency). Also, there is KJJZ AM, 1390, daytime only, which lately has been playing REAL R&B, as opposed to the "urban funk" that KDKO plays. In addition, the college FM stations in Boulder, Denver, Greeley all play jazz every night. Tom Buckley ...drutx!trb

-- To add to Tom Buckley's list of stations, as of about 4 months ago KCFR (National Public Radio, way at the low end of the dial, I'm not sure of the number) started broadcasting overnight with jazz 12PM-6AM. I'm not sure if it's still on, though. Anita
