[comp.lang.c++] Version 2.1 of the Rogue Wave Classes is ready

keffer@blake.acs.washington.edu (Thomas Keffer) (08/19/89)

Version 2.1 of the Rogue Wave Vector and Matrix classes is now ready.

This is a set of C++ classes for arithmetic calculations, FFTs, and
solving sets of linear equations. Additions from Version 1 include
matrix classes and additional types. The classes have also been
simplified while increasing their functionality by eliminating
temporary slice variables. The version 2.1 classes are slightly
incompatible with the 1.1 classes. The biggest difference is in the
way assigments are treated. Details in a README file.

They will compile under the GNU g++ compiler (version 1.35 or greater)
or the AT&T "cfront" compiler (version 1.2 or version 2.0, although
the latter has not been tested extensively).

The classes are available via anonymous ftp from host
sperm.ocean.washington.edu (ip 128.208.2.7). You want file
RWVector2.1.tar.

Please send bug reports to me (especially cfront release 2.0
reports!).

Thanks to David Forslund (Los Alamos) and (especially) Al Vermeulen
(University of Waterloo) for their help!
