I am interested in finding out how the normal C part of C++ differs from ANSI C. Are there any articles or other info on this, or could someone summarize what areas to look at? Also, has C++ changed since the original Stroustrup book? I am looking into using C++ for a project and want to find out where the language is today and where it is going. I am interested in what differences exist between the CFRONT 2.0 spec and the ANSI C spec that would prevent a CFRONT 2.0 compatible C++ compiler from compiling an ANSI C program. I know that there was a difference in name space handling between 1.0 and ANSI C, but I've also heard that this has been removed in 2.0.
