The phrase "We the people ..." was incorrectly cited as being in
the Declaration of Independence, and not appearing in the Constitution
or the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Declaration starts with "When in the course of human events ...."
The Pledge starts "I pledge allegiance to the flag ...."
IT IS THE PREAMBLE TO THE CONSTITUTION (not the constitution itself)
that starts "We the people ...."
Check it out, it is really true.
Note - this is not a flame, just a Point Of Information.
