For the record, my local progressive bookstore has a couple more new "C++" books from MIS Press: "User Interfaces in C++ and Object Oriented Programming" by Mark Goodwin and "Object Oriented Environments in C++" by David Hu I scanned both of them, but declined to buy them. Perhaps if someone actually buys and reads these things, they can report to us? My scanning seemed to reveal both books are PC oriented, and give examples of using C++ to help make "user interfaces" -- windows displays and the likes. Both had a fair amount of code examples, but nothing in the code caught my eyes as being particularly exciting.
