A current topic of interest on the net has been the availability of general purpose libraries for C++. AT&T will be making available a set of reusable, general purpose, well documented (IMHO) C++ class libraries. These will include such basics as Strings, Lists, and associative arrays (see the Koenig paper in the June 1988 USENIX conference proceedings), plus lots of other neat stuff. These libraries are currently in use inside AT&T. At this time I can't provide any other details (like when); if you REALLY must ask, our C++ product manager is Paul Fillinich, ...!attunix!uso!paulf or attmail!pfillinich. Rob Murray AT&T Bell Labs
