[comp.lang.c++] Request for recommendations for C++ books.

Hello.  I'm working on a project that involves programming in C++.  I'm
experienced in C programming, and I need to know the names of some good books
for learning C++.

I know that Strousop's (sp?) book is the standard, but how good is it?
Is it a good tutorial, or just a good reference manual?
