Header line says it all. I am told that C++ says deleting a nil pointer is allright. But if destructor is virtual, my colleague informs me, a core dump is the result. Has anyone got a patch for this. Last time I sent mail to this group asking for a patch, I got one response, from a very nice person in France, and it was exactly what I needed. I've since forwarded that response, including patch, to several other requestors, who have also been made happy. I hope it works as well this time as last. And thanks to all who make the lives of strangers easier without much in the way of compensation. -- Kevin Sullivan (sullivan@cs.washington.edu) Department of Computer Science, Sieg Hall FR-35, University of Washington, Seattle, WA 98195 Tel: (206) 543-1695
