[comp.lang.c++] Query: copyright status of AT&T standard class libraries

      Are the class libraries distributed with cfront 2.0 copyrighted,
and if so, what are the restrictions associated with their use?  Can
they be used with non AT&T C++ compilers?  Can they be purchased
separately?  Are there GNU versions?

      It will be a problem if part of the language definition is
restricted by copyright protection.
