[comp.lang.c++] C++ oriented LEX and YACC: would someone summarize?

kells@iis.UUCP (Kevin Kells) (03/27/90)

What lex-like and yacc-like tools are available for creating
parsers/compilers in C++ for other languages? From where are they
ftp'able or where can one get a tape?

My interest is actually to be able to use plain lex and yacc with my
C++ code without having to fight with the non-ansi/non-C++ output that
plain lex and yacc produce. A version of lex and yacc that produces C++
code (or at least ansi code) is what I'm after, but there is probably
interest in having more general information available in one summary.

I will post a summary of
"what is available" - "what it does" - "where you can get it"
if you would be kind enough to send me via mail the information that
you have.

Thank you very much,

--Kevin
