I have just rebuilt version 1.2 under SunOs 4.0.?. Preliminary testing reveals that code I developed using version 1.2 under SunOs 3.5 works fine, except for most programs that use the task library. What do I need to do to get the task library running properly under SunOs 4? ________________________________________________________________________ Dennis Jarvis, CSIRO Division of Manufacturing Technology, PO Box 4, Woodville, South Australia 5011, Australia. We are looking at using the AT&T C++ Task Library for some development we are doing. We are working on Sparc stations. Any experience out there with the Task Library on Sparc stations? Did you do the port yourself or use an unsupported version from AT&T? We are concerned with how robust the library is, especially since it is unsupported. What other Task Libraries are people using? The NIH Class Library's Process classes provide multiprocessing with coroutines, but more along the lines of Smalltalk-80. In Release 3.0 of the class library, available via anonymous ftp from alw.nih.gov in the file pub/nihcl.tar.Z, there is a port for the SPARC.
