[comp.lang.c++] Experience with CommonView

I am interested in experience using Glockenspiel's CommonView.
They claim compatibility across Windows 3, New Wave, PM, and
Motif. How accurate is that claim, and how difficult is the
programming required? Is Glockenspiel's C++ required, or will
any 2.0-spec model do?

I have been using Glockenspiel CommonView. It works well for Windows and PM.
The new version "..shipping end August" (CommonView 2) will suposedly support
NewWave. Motif is "..later".

Easy things are easy in CommonView, but outside of their classes it gets hard
with the complexity of Windows and no source code for their classes.

I know life is lots easier with Glockenspiel C++, but any should work. Their
is nothing specific to their compiler. If you use MS C 6.0 you might like the
way it all integrates.
