I have watched this show a few times. In my opinion, it is not really good science fiction (there's no adequate reason given for why time is screwing up like it is and how they are able to fix it.) but it is not as bad as it might be as entertainment. One thing that impresses me is that the lead, whose character is called Phineas Bogg, actually does seem "alien" in some way. Most actors playing such a part try and make the character too much like a 20th century human. There's something alien about Doctor Who played by Tom Baker, too. Perhaps that is why I like it.
