I tried the above site about a month ago and it was not there. I was told
by someone that it was removed for space reasons. Is it back? If not then
is there somewhere else it can be found. I would check myself but I don't
have direct ftp access (I need to go through others and don't want to bother
them if I don't have to). If it isn't on any ftp site, can someone mail it
to me? I would really like to look at this package if possible.

Thanks.

----------------------------------------

I saw version 1.0 in the Unix sources available from uunet, but I
haven't tried to get it from there:

/usr/spool/ftp/comp.sources.unix/volume22/:
drwxr-xr-x 2 rsalz 512 Jun 8 11:36 et

This is a directory that supposedly contains 3 compressed files and
a patch.

I've been using the ET++ version 1.0 system for a year. It's buggy,
but nice. Version 2.0 was due out in June, but didn't make it. The
authors insist that it will be out "real soon now".

Enjoy,
Dave

Sorry, but that's NOT it either. That 'et' is an error table compiler.
No flame implied (it was a good guess), just avoiding others the trouble.

  Try gatekeeper.dec.com, under ~pub/plan/c++; 6.5 megs of et++-1.0
