Hello, I'm in the process of installing g++-1.37.1 on an Silicon Graphics IRIS 4D running IRIX 3.3.1. After applying the same changes that were needed to make gcc-1.37.1 running, I've got g++ to compile. As I don't have a gnu-as and gnu-ld for the mips based Iris, I've build cc1plus with -DFASCIST_ASSEMBLER defined. I was than able to build libg++ without to much difficulties. Unfortunatelly I'm not able to link any object files created by g++. The loader complains about the following undefined symbols: __DTOR_LIST__ and __CTOR_LIST__. Has anybody some good advice for me? During the make of g++, I also failed to build ld++. during compilation of ld.c I get comlaints that the number of arguments to macro N_TXTOF. In fact it is called with one parameter, but (at least since IRIX 3.2) defined (a.out.h) to have 2 parameters (file_ptr and optional header). Maybe there would be a solution to my above problem. Again, any hints are very welcome.
