I'm in a situation where I must use the Glockenspiel C++ offerring under OS2. It's supposedly a straight port of AT&T 2.0. However, at unpredictable times it produces "internal error code -7" with no indication about which line number it was up to in the file. I thought this might have something to do with the cfront's "bus error or something nasty like that" message, translated into the DOS/OS2 world where core dumps do not exist. But the AT&T cfront gives me a line number if a bus error happens. The same code, compiled under my unix port of 2.0 compiles happily. The symptoms seem to occur when I've included a header file whose contents are not actually used in the .c file, but there are also other cases. 1) Has anyone encountered this problem before, and found out anything which might point me at a solution. (?) 2) Does anyone have an email contact for a non-turkey technical person at Glockenspiel? Trying to get support out of them through normal channels has proven nigh impossible. Please respond by email. Any thoughts on the above greatly appreciated. Regards, Mike Mowbray ACSnet: mikem@otc.oz UUCP: {uunet, mcvax}!otc.oz!mikem
