I am attempting to build a sizeable (~10K-20k) event
driven communications simulation in C++. I have lots
of C experience, lots of Unix experience,LOTS of simulation
experience but little C++ experience. I am on my own. I need advice,
pointers, references and prayers. In the what I have read
I have seen lots of references to simulations but they
have been "toy" programs. This isn't a toy

Check out the Co-routine library. Specifically
the Object, Sched, and Task classes.
If your on a Sun, grab the AT&T C++ Translator
Library Manual.
I was out this weekend looking for further
references for this library and had no luck.
Granted I was looking in mall-type computer
book stores (Software Etc, etc).
If you find a better reference on the Co-routine
library I'd appreciate knowing about it.
Good Luck.
Tried to E-mail it bounced.
