In response to your message of Sat Jan 29 10:45:20 1983: "Lucas is going to lay off SW production for a few years..." Where did you hear \\that//? The original production schedule was one every three years until all 9 were out; there have been rumors that this would increase to one every other year, and that Lucas himself would be less involved, but none that production itself would be slowed down. NB also the statement (from Lucas) that R2D2 and C3PO are the only characters seen in all 9 episodes and it becomes questionable whether it matters \what/ happens to Luke in RotJ.
