[comp.lang.c++] problem with porting c++2.1 to mips

Has anyone encountered any problems in porting attc++2.1 to a mips (OS4.1).
I have run into some difficulty with error.c.  For some reason when the 
bootstrap version tries to build the actual version cfront gives out the
message "3 errors" when compiling error.c.
