Hello, If you have any experience with ET++2.0, I would appreciate very much if you could share it with me. Also, I would like to know where I can find the source (preferably ftp site ) for it. I know only that it was originally written by grad students from the University of Zurich and the source has since been hacked by folks from other universities. Please send e-mail to: narain@eng.buffalo.edu Thank you, Sudeep

The current release is actually ET++2.2 and is available by anonymous ftp from iam.unibe.ch [130.92.64.10] in "C++/ET++". >> I know only that it was originally written >> by grad students from the University of Zurich and the >> source has since been hacked by folks from other universities. correct, and we indeed got some support in 2.2 to adapt 2.0 to g++ from Ron Guilmette and Tom Vijlbrief. But I would not characterize support from a "C++ Entomologist" and another gnu g(n)uru as "hacked by folks" :-). The original authors are still in control of ET++ and the work on ET++ is going on in the research lab of a large Swiss bank (UBS). --Erich Gamma gamma@ifi.unizh.ch
