Just to muddy the waters a bit, I just got a copy of a new magazine from Borland called "Language Express" (sort of a poor cousin of the old "Turbo Technix") which describes TWO C++ products - the new Borland C++ which we've been hearing so much about, and Turbo C++, 2nd Edition. Unfortunately, there are no details about the 2nd Ed., but the upgrade price is $60 and the retail price is $100, so I'd wager it's simply the DOS portions of Borland C++ minus the development tools (assembler, profiler, stand-alone debugger). I don't know if this makes the upgrade decision harder or easier for those of you who aren't going to do any Windows programming, but I thought you should know. Tony Hodgson ahodgson@hstbme.mit.edu
