[comp.lang.c++] Problems with the Object I/O in the NIH - Library

zoeller@tunix.informatik.rwth-aachen.de (Georg Zoeller D ritz) (02/28/91)

After the installation of the NIH - Library 3.0 under SunOs 4.1 something
went wrong with the Object I/O:

While testing the example "ex7-2.c" the AT&T C++ 2.0 Compiler generates the
following warning:

"ex7-2.c", line 44: warning: temporary used for non-const OIOout & argument

The execution goes right until the Object I/O and then stops with the
following error message:

NIHCL: fatal: [ALLOCSIZE] Negative or zero object allocation size requested:
0x000441f0->ArrayOb()

We believe that there is an error in our installation or a bug in the
NIH - Library.

If someone has a solution to this problem, we are interested in this
solution.

Thanks, Georg Zoeller
